Pre-service Teacher

I'm a Student and a Pre-service teacher living in Darwin from past two years. I'm originally from India and with an educational background of civil engineering.Currently perusing Masters of teaching at Charles Darwin University.

My teaching philosophy

My philosophy of teaching is based on Constructivism and Progressivism. Learning is a cumulative process, much like a living puzzle, which I completely agree with based on my personal experiences as both a Pre-service teacher and a student. Information arrives in bits that interact with prior knowledge in a unique way for each learner, resulting in a unique picture of understanding. As a result, a teacher's duty is to aid this process by giving information while also assisting students in their own knowledge creation. I've come to know that the greatest way to promote student learning is to respect each student's uniqueness, connect course topics to exciting real-world applications, and provide a secure and pleasurable learning atmosphere with open doors.
